Yes, please, let us know. Scheduling anything in Jan-Feb in the Great Lakes area is iffy at best-- can sometimes be downright dangerous, but I'd be interested, too. And, like Mick said, Clinton really doesn't suck.

The Barrie/Orillia area is fine by me, it's a nice drive from Lake Huron. Spring would be best unless I'm gigging, but I'd try to keep a date open if I knew far enough in advance. Anything I can bring? Food?

May sounds a whole lot better that February. I talked to a fellow who said the drive from Toronto to Detroit a week ago Sunday took him 8 hours instead of the usual 4, because of accidents and snow.

Maybe I can hitch a ride with Big Mick and his clan?

May sounds GREAT to me! The roads are really no fun here in the winter ... I think Raptor had some exciting winter sports in mind for us though -- (skiing, snowshoeing etc).

Regarding the raid at the former Molson's brewery here in Barrie, I'm so disappointed that our archaic criminal laws prevent Molson's from diversifying it's party products! Nice try though, guys! ;-)

I don't want to speak for Raptor, but I'm not sure there's enough space in his driveway/yard for a pop-up Mooh. There are a few campgrounds nearby, and you'd be most welcome to camp out at my place if you like! I'm about 20 minutes from Raptor's. My house is so small I couldn't host more than one other person inside (or perhaps a couple, although that might be a bit "squishy"). But I do have a nice big yard and would be most happy to let you use the facilities here! And if there's anyone planning on coming up alone and needing a place to stay, let me know ok?

How about the long weekend in May, Raptor -- Victoria Day? IT would give people an extra day for travelling, and the weather is usually gorgeous by then.

The Victoria Day long weekend would be excellent for us, assuming Nothing Bad Happens. (Edmund's in the army and I have a gummint job, and you know what that can mean.) Ottawa is about six to seven hours from Barrie if you obey the law and the conditions are good, so it's manageable on a Friday after work, if one makes only a token appearance at the office after lunch. Any Ottawa-area 'Catters who would like to attend without driving should contact us.

Hey, I would like to meet some of you catters. I am about 90 minutes from Barrie (Whitby) although May 24th week-end is not a good time. I will have visitors from Ireland here at Easter and again in May. A weekend in late April or early May would be better, but go ahead and set a definite date and I may be able to work around it.

Unfortunately, I can't make the **official** meeting, but if anyone out there wants to meet an occasional Mudcatter, I will be in the Toronto area over the last weekend in March (26th-28th). There's a filk convention in Mississauga that I attend every year.
