Subject: Anyone remember Staverton Bridge? From: red max Date: 09 Jan 04 - 05:35 AM I dug out this old LP the other day, what a great album! That version of My Lady's Coach is so atmospheric. I've never heard anyone else tackle that song. Did the group record anything else? |

While students tried to make a film using their "Green Lady" as soundtrack. Besideas a series of other disasters, the emulsion started to disintegrate after 6 months. Wierd or what? SM |

Subject: RE: Anyone remember Staverton Bridge? From: BB Date: 11 Jan 04 - 05:47 PM We had the LP. but it got warped - the only one that ever did! Fortunately, the song is on the 'Dead Maid's Land' CD, for which Paul Wilson of Staverton Bridge was the musical director. It is indeed a powerful song. |
