I couldn't find your name to send a message to you. I had forgotten that I had posted to that thread.
OK Seven Nations changed their name from Clan na Gael because to many groups had the same name. The original Clan na Gael, as you probably know was a political group and lots of people have since used the name. Seven Nations of course is for the seven Celtic/Gaelic nations.
