Nutty has been busy organising this. So, who's going?
I have to postpone my arrival till midday Saturday (Bob Fox at StAlbans Friday night, don't want to miss him). Picking up my new Cort CJ50 12-string from Ampthill on the way up, all being well.
Alio, you won't give me the slip again, will you? Hope to see you there!

As you will see when you arrive George ...this is not a Mudcat event although some Mudcatters do attend.

The weekend (even at this time of year) has always been so popular that I have never had to advertise and attendance has been by word of mouth.

If anyone wants to come in the future PM me and I'll put your names on the waiting list.

I'm leaving home soon to get things organised ..... the voice is in fine fettle and I'm full of anticipation.......

Oops, sorry I let the secret out of the bag!
The ice has melted and the roads look good. Just the rain and gales to contend with tomorrow...

Sorry I couldn't make it this year, Hazel. I certainly enjoyed it in 2002. Pity that it clashed with Loughstock this year! Never mind - hope to make it next year.
Was it as successful as usual? Will the hostel be back in full working order next year?
"With pleasure for to rest myself and view the lambs ...!"

It's no secret that this has long been my favourite weekend in the whole year, and this was no exception - thanks again Hazel!

Geoff and I really enjoyed running it on Friday - it's so easy as everyone goes there to enjoy the singing and join in.

And the singing was just wonderful, as always!!

Oh well, only 51 weeks to go to the next one!!

Ali

The weekend exceeded my expectations and gave me an unforgettable 60th birthday party.

Once again, I was amazed by the voices, the songs and the sheer amount of talent that assembled in one room and the distances people travelled to be there ..... it was folk music at it's best.

Thank you all for being part of it. I was still on a high all day yesterday ....today me feet are settling on firm ground again.
