Hello everyone. Tam-Lin will be playing a sad and final farewell at the Charity Mic Night on Sat 28th Feb. The band is headed by Alan Hewson who runs The Baldock and Letchworth Folk Club,with wife Sue. (some how I don't think we have seen the last of these two) also playing will be members of the Friendly Earth and Fretless Sing a Round Club, which include Tony Vasse (very classical guitar) Newport West (country duo) and one of the clubs founders Ross Scrivener and a few others,please come donwn and support this Charity do. John Breeze will be playing at the club on June 07th 2004.Making an all to rare appearance. Come and enjoy this extraordinary local folk character. Baseball caps a must.

Ross has 2 credits, Martin 1. Hey Mart, you'll only need 4 songs for your 'spotlight' i.e. if you rack up enough credits this term in time, the program for next term has to be done by mid Feb for the creamery to get it on time.

Not to forget Steve Last, has one of our Sing a Round Extended Spots on Monday 19th April 2004
We have a two hour Sing a Round 8.30-10.30 then the extended spot 10.30-11.00ish. He will I hope, be playing his beautiful new Martin which I had the honour of hearing at John Breezys Club on Sunday night, at The Royal British Legion at 85 Verulam Rd, St Albans,Herts. But before all of that we have Theo Thomas and friends including Janet Strapp who are members of The Goose and Grid Iron Band. They will be playing the last half an hour on Monday 22nd March 2004.

I've just got back from one of Breezy's madcap clubs. The car park is too small the bar noise is too loud, but the ale is lovely and the whole thing was made worthwhile by Breezy and Big P G singing George's song "Blow That Horn" never heard or seen anything like it before.Excellent.You must go and see it all again at The Cricketers in Redbourn on Thursday. The main guest Ron Truman-Border did a couple of good songs one called "Blood on my hands" the other "Hippies never die" I might copy some of those ideas myself. By the way I am 99.9 percent sure we have booked George Papavgeris for the 10th May. We will know by next Thursday. Ashwell Mummers are about to start practising a new play which we'll be performing on 17th April at my son's wedding (I hope). It's unlikely that we'll be able to do anything before that (Easter hols) so your 19th April session is the first chance. I'll ask them about that if you're interested (I know you've got a guest, but we only take 10-15 minutes). Your next session after that, I'd guess, is May Bank Holiday, which won't be possible.

Hello everyone, we are using this thread for now until we start a Hamish one, which will be soon. Thanks for everyone who came, another great night. I made it 15 altogether.
