sessions in Ayrshire

I go to a session in the Marina in Irvne on a tuesday night. it starts around 9pm and finishes round about 11.45pm. is there any other sessions going on in Ayshire(Scotland). The Marina welcomes anyone to the session, the more the merrier.

Are you forgetting the Irvine folk club venue, now at the Golf Hotel, Kilwinning road---on a Wednesday I Think--or is it every other Wednesday? A wee bit mair formal than "doon the harbour", but some helluva good residents, and the occasional top-line guest.

I'm a member of the Folk club at the Golf hotel, but I wouldn't consider that a session where you pay to hear some play/sing.
A session for me is a pub or a place where anyone can play/sing for nothing.
The Irvine folk club is a business, unlike a session which isn't.
but that just my view, there might be people who think that going to a folk club and you pay, a session.
