Heard Anuna a few years back in what I think was their first performance outside Ireland. They sang in a modern concert hall with 1000+ audience rather than the small halls that they had been used to and sounded wonderful. The audience was spellbound.

Thanks for highlighting concert.

"BBC radio 2 folk awards" indeed! When is the USA going to pull its head out of its arse and put something like that on ABC or even PBS? Probably never. What a shame!

[end rant here]

Great to see Kate's getting some TV-Exposure - hopefully some of the doubters who cast nasturtiums over her 'Hogmanay Live' appearance will see her in a different light! And what a band! A Must-See for me.

I did think the 'Stars' song she sang on the Folk Awards was the best that I had seen her on TV - and will look forward to seeing the concert.

It is nice to see all this folk talent on TV but it would be nice if terrestial TV licence payers could see it too.
