Subject: RE: Last Cropredy? From: GUEST Date: 13 Feb 04 - 02:37 AM See "Peggy Writes & For Sale" in the Fairports site. That looks like a "Yes" to me. |
Subject: RE: Last Cropredy? From: GUEST, Hamish, no cookie Date: 13 Feb 04 - 02:39 AM cos it says "I must stress that none of this will affect this year's Cropredy because Chris is determined to make it the best one ever and we are not sure if it is going to be the last one because of the situation" (That was me at #3 above, too!) |

Subject: RE: Last Cropredy? From: sledge Date: 28 Jul 04 - 03:09 AM I don't know about others on the list but for me the next two weeks are slowing down, the day when I pitch my tent at the Cropredy camp site just can't arrive soon enough. Sad thoughts about the possibilty of it being the last festival aside, I really am looking forwrd to seeing those friends I only ever see there, and even a few school friends who have remained in the Babbury area, looking forward to the warm ups at the Mill arts centre and taking my parents to see the Monday night gig as I do each year, looking forward to a slow wake up and a walk to the village school for breakfast, a few pints in the Red lion pub and a few late night songs in the camp site before bed. Will any other catters be making the journey, looks like a good line up to me. |
Subject: RE: Last Cropredy? From: My guru always said Date: 28 Jul 04 - 07:56 AM Will be there, staying with other Catters on the Canal. Usually a fair few Catters to be found at Cropredy!! |
Subject: RE: Last Cropredy? From: Gamelon Date: 28 Jul 04 - 06:41 PM Hope it's not the last one because for me it'll be my first. I can only presume that it will be as good as I've been led to believe. Might even make some new friends there. I'll be in the tent next to a grey Galaxy with a tog sticker in the back window. |
Subject: RE: Last Cropredy? From: VIN Date: 29 Jul 04 - 04:04 AM See y'all there. With Tull, Oysters, Harper (nick), Tyger Hutch, Jez Lowe & of course the lads themselves & the rest, it should be a cracker! Start the sun dance now!! |
Subject: RE: Last Cropredy? From: GUEST,Chris Date: 29 Jul 04 - 07:34 AM Why don't you leave Barb'ry alone? There are some smug self-righteous gits in this forum as well as some very nice people. Thanx for the link Noreen! |
Subject: RE: Last Cropredy? From: *Laura* Date: 29 Jul 04 - 06:38 PM I don't believe it! Are all my festivals under threat!?!?!? |
Subject: RE: Last Cropredy? From: VIN Date: 30 Jul 04 - 11:27 AM Speaking of fesivals, i find this an interesting site (from fROOTS)for what festival is on where:- http://www.frootsmag.com/content/festivals/gb/#england I'm sure Cropredy will be back in the future at some point (just like Fairport themselves - 'it all comes 'round again'. |
