Subject: John McCusker (lonely & dejected) From: GUEST,John McCusker Date: 16 Feb 04 - 11:29 AM All this adulation for Kate, everyone seems to have forgotten about me. I'm the one who plays fiddle and tells crap jokes in her backing combo. We've had our ups and downs (still do) but I think I also deserve a thread for my loyalty and devotion to her meteoric rise. Love John X |

Subject: RE: John McCusker (lonely & dejected) From: weerover Date: 16 Feb 04 - 11:51 AM John, I thought when I first saw your name beginning to appear in print that it must surely be the same guy I raved about for weeks when he turned up at our folk club (in the Forge) aged I guess about 12, accompanied I think by one of his teachers, and blew everyone away with the quality of his fiddle playing. Can you confirm? wr |
Subject: RE: John McCusker (lonely & dejected) From: Dita Date: 16 Feb 04 - 12:02 PM weerover, I don't know about Guest John McCusker, but Kate's partner John is the same guy who used to appear at Udingston Folk Club with his teacher, and they formed the school band Parcel of Rogues. From there he joined Battlefield Band, and then on to world domination with Kate. More power to his elbow. John/Dita. |
