For the last 5 years I've been racking my brains about an album a friend of mine had almost 30 yrs ago. I've convinced myself that it was "Fairport Convention Live in Amsterdam". I've tried various searches over the years to no avail Fairports site has nothing. One particular track which keeps going round in my head was I believe entitled "The Boatman", I wonder if anyone might put me out of my misery. Any offers?????

I remember a folk club in Amsterdam called 'Folk Fairport' in the mid 70s, I don't know if they ever played there.

I've got a rough recording of a concert in Vienna in 1971 but can't find anything from Holland at this time.

I think I'll get the old ouija board out and try to get in touch with the friend who had the record seems to be the way to go . Thanks to those who tried to help.

There was a 'Live at the Troubadour'from Fairprt ,never heard off a live in Amsterdam LP.

Just this year, a label called Real Gone Music released the CD "Fairport Convention Live In Finland 1971", featuring the "Angel Delight" lineup at the Roisrock Festival in Turku, Finland on August 22 1971, which might do until you find what you're looking for.

Just found a recording I didn't know I had from 1975 recorded at Turfschip-Breda Holland.
