I know most of this song, but have a problem with the first verse. Two summers now have passed and gone And you're still on my mind Occtober winds return again ANd play upon the ??????

Now it could be wind pronounced wynd, but that comes too soon after wind pronounced wind!!!!! Help me Obiwan! Jonathan.

Refreshing another very old thread--

I see where Jonathan said in another thread that he had the lyrics, but he never posted them, and he quit posting several years ago.

Ca Canny recorded THE LASS FROM ERIN'S ISLE on "9 Hours in Auld Reekie" – but it must be a rare song; I can find very few references to it with Google, and none of my favorite music sites mention it.

Does anybody else have the lyrics?
