Subject: RE: Some News From: GUEST,Sleepless Mum Date: 20 Feb 04 - 08:34 PM Nothing will ever be the same again. And EVERYTHING will be better. You will no longer care about broken nick nacks. You will cherish eight hours sleep. You will wake up at the slightest gurgle. You will learn amazing animal impressions. You will be crawled on, spewed on, peed on and worse. You will ooh and aah at baby clothes. You will be an authority on Winnie the Pooh. You will read anything with the words child/baby/illness in it. You will smile at other pram pushers. You will feel like you have won the lottery. You will take photographs like never before. You will be a real pretend Santa. You will watch him/her sleep. You will find little socks everywhere. You will marvel at every finger and toe. You will wonder what you did before the baby arrived. You will love like you have nevr loved before. |

Subject: RE: Some News From: Big Mick Date: 20 Feb 04 - 10:01 PM I am in for the virtual baby shower!! I am so happy to "hear" this, my friend. Being a Daddy is one of the great gifts. Learn to change a diaper and put up with "urp up". Make sure you play music and sing to the child, even while in the Momma's tummy. You will never regret it. This is just plain wonderful news, Nathan, and I congratulate you from the bottom of my heart. All the best, Mick |

Subject: RE: Some News From: GUEST Date: 24 Feb 04 - 10:54 AM Congratulations on becoming a father! I'm sorry I'm anonymous but you have never liked me and I wanted you to take this seriously, Nathan. I think you will be a great father. I also think you are very cute. As for finding a job, if you lived where I live you could be working for 60K in about a minute with your computer skills. You're just in the wrong job market. Good luck on your new life! sincerely, anon |
Subject: RE: Some News From: alanabit Date: 24 Feb 04 - 11:02 AM Congratulations and good luck. I can't think of any one event which has enriched my life as much as having children. It sounds a bit soppy to say this, but I think it comes as a shock to you to find out just how much love you have in you when your children arrive. I wish you and your family many happy years together. |
Subject: RE: Some News From: Amergin Date: 24 Feb 04 - 11:04 PM Well I just found a due date for the baby, October 4th...but then the first ultrasound is next week so that is liable to change! Thank you everyone for your congratualtions and everything we appreciate it.. and Guest Thank you too whyoever you are...and if ever I have said anything to hurt you or anything...I dearly apologise. Nathan |
Subject: RE: Some News From: LadyJean Date: 25 Feb 04 - 12:24 AM Congratulations! My great grandmother was named Annabell, and she was quite a remarkable lady. My one piece of advice on raising children is that most of them get cranky in the late afternoon. I volunteered at the Pittsburgh Childrens' Museum for a few months. I had a watch that lost a few minutes every day, and I used to set it by the children's behavior. I knew it was 3:00 when the tantrums started. OH! You can get some great booties from Mission Traders. They don't kick off! |
Subject: RE: Some News From: Amergin Date: 05 Mar 04 - 07:03 PM She had the ultra sound and they changed the due date to the 7th! So far all is going well! Still too early to find out the sex. |
Subject: RE: Some News From: Tinker Date: 05 Mar 04 - 07:43 PM Just spotted this... congradulations, parenthood is an amazing road and one guarenteed to never leave you bored. From sleep deprevation with midnight feedings to sleep deprivation from midnight dates it's all a wonderful roller coaster. all the best tinker |
Subject: RE: Some News From: MMario Date: 06 Mar 04 - 02:22 PM watch her be late and we'll all be at the getaway weekend pacing the floor and waiting for news! |
Subject: RE: Some News From: Peter Kasin Date: 06 Mar 04 - 02:51 PM Congratulations, Amergin! We don't know each other, but it pleases me no end to hear this news. Well, at least she did agree to any easy-to-pronounce Irish name (Liam) if it's a boy :-). Chanteyranger |
Subject: RE: Some News From: GUEST Date: 06 Mar 04 - 04:44 PM Remember when you are trying to change diapers/nappies, and feed the baby at 0200hrs.. Babies Are Smooth, Teddy Bears Are Furry...;-) |
Subject: RE: Some News From: katlaughing Date: 06 Mar 04 - 10:34 PM Congratulations, Nathan! I'm having a blast with my almost 4 month old grandson, Morgan. I like the names you've chosen, too! luvyakat |
Subject: RE: Some News From: LadyJean Date: 06 Mar 04 - 10:58 PM My friend Emily's first baby was a breach. They were planning a C section but he came out, feet first, before the surgeon could get there. As far as I know there's nothing the matter with him, except that he plays ice hockey. Everyone tells horror stories about pregnancy and delivery. I like to tell that one because it's upbeat. Emily had two more children, delivered normally. The middle one's named Corneilia but I think there are ways to prevent that. |
Subject: RE: Some News From: Amergin Date: 12 May 04 - 12:52 AM Thank you everyone. She went in for her second ultrasound today...and was hoping to find out the sex...but the little rascal kept turning away so they couldn't tell....lol...told her the bubs takes after her....stubborn and ornery....she didn't appreciate that too much.... ;) Oh yeah and the due date has been changed to the 2nd of October! |
Subject: RE: Some News From: Liz the Squeak Date: 12 May 04 - 04:17 AM October? Another bloody Libran! Good luck with it all, get all the rest you can now, because you won't get any afterwards. Enjoy the early summer, she won't want to be going anywhere but Iceland once the heat kicks in - those little alien critters (Limpit bore a startling resemblance to THE Alien - all head and backbone) are like carrying a radiator around. Subject: RE: Some News From: harpgirl Date: 12 May 04 - 10:23 AM This is so exciting! Give us a PO Box so we can send baby gifts. In fact, I propose a virtual baby shower. Admittance would be a gift in advance to be opened while we attend in the Mudchat baby shower room! BYOB! Any interest? |
