I always worry when a thread bears an old-timer's name that he or she has passed away. Thank goodness he's still with us!

I know there's an OBIT category, but I always get that sinking feeling when I see a thread just named after a person!

He's withe his band The Clinch Mountain Boys.
It's repeated on Saturday the 28th.

This is being shown on BBC4 TV next Friday, NOT radio 4. The folk viewing starts at 9 pm with the first of 2 Celtic connections programmes, then Ralph Stanley at 10 pm, Laura Cantrell 11 to 11:30 and Johnny Cash (recorded on Jools Holland's "Later") 12:05 to 12:35.
