All Mudcatters in commuting distance (and the rest o ye, tae, for that matter) are cordially invited to a CEILIDH (a Celtic music/dance party, pronounced "KAY-lee") this Saturday, 2/28/04, in Brunswick, Maine.

WHO: Ceilidh House staff, kith & kin, wandering Celts & Celtophiles!
WHAT: Informal ceilidh in honor of all past & present Ceilidh House volunteers
WHEN: 7:00 PM, Saturday, February 28th, 2004
WHERE: Curtis Memorial Library, 23 Pleasant Street, Brunswick, ME
HOW MUCH: Free admission to all volunteers. Others are invited to contribute $3 - $5 towards room rental costs. Potluck refreshments also welcome; no alcoholic beverages please.
WHY: To celebrate the ongoing revival of Celtic culture & music in Maine, to honor the volunteers who make it possible, and have a rollicking good time!

Please bring instruments and/or a song, story, poem, tune, or dance to share. This is an all-ages event and the venue is wheelchair-accessible. All are welcome!

--Cuilionn (Holly Morrison, Program Director, Ceilidh House)

Ceilidh House is Maine's first pan-Celtic school & cultural center. We are in the process of applying for 501(c)(3) nonprofit status. Our mission is to provide a home for educational activities and performance events that celebrate the Celtic immigrant heritage of Maine.

I am afraid that Cape Breton is a bit too far away, but I wish that I was there .
All the best, agus slainte!
