Tech: slow response from Mudcat

Subject: Anyone else having these problems?

I'm having a problem getting into the forum, in the past week or so it's sometimes taken over 10 minutes to get in & sometimes I can't get in. When I do get in every move has taken a very long time. If I veiw a thread, it takes forever to get the thread up & when I want to go back to the forum again it's a very long wait. I haven't had this happen at other sites but I also haven't seen anyone else bring this problem up, so I'm doing a reality check. Thanks, Barry

Hi Barry,

Once in a while I have this problem, but only rarely. In fact, the longer I am a member of Mudcat, it seems that the homepage actually loads quicker. It seems the slowest recovery is when one has posted to a thread and it is reloading the main forum page.

Max, Dick, et al, I am not complaining, I am amazed at the quality of the site compared to others.
