With St David's Day upon us (Dydd Gwyl Ddewi) I thought it time to add one more Welsh traditional song.
I'm sure someone (Siân?) will add more verses. But it also gives me a chance to make my first attempt at ABC notation!

Lisa Lân
(Welsh trad.)

Bum yn dy garu lawer gwaith
Do lawer awr mewn mwynder maith;
Bum yn dy gusanu Lisâ gêl,
Yr oedd dy gwmni'n well na'r mêl.

Lisa, a ddoi di i'm danfon i,
I rhoi fy nghorff mewn daear ddu?
Gobeithio ddoi di, f'annwyl ffrind,
Hyd lan y bedd, lle'r wyf yn mynd.

Someone please let me know if the ABC works

Ta!

Thanks Malcolm, I did try a search on "Lisa lan", but the earlier thread title was too long, and dropped the second word, so I failed to find it

CHEERS

Guest,
If you don't get a reply here, you could try asking at the Welsh Traditional Music site

Is the English text in the earlier thread (see link above) not suitable?
