Subject: Lyr Req: Woman of Mystery From: GUEST,Sheila Date: 12 Mar 04 - 11:17 PM The words and music were published in a slime volume of Dominic's work. I think the song was written in the early 1950's. I know the first two verses but have forgotten the rest ( two more only I think). The first verse and chorus are: She sings in a cafe beside the Seine, All dressed in black. Sombre, beguiling and smiling when The customers all smile back. Sing for them smiling, Woman of mystery. Sing for them sighing, Add to their memories. |
