Hi,
I found the lyrics on this one already in this wonderful database, which I bumped into only recently. Elsewhere on the net, is stated that the author Anne Bredon wrote AND recorded it in the late fifties. Is there anybody who can confirm this with a labelname and/or year of release? For all I know, it was recorded first by Joan Baez in 1962. Thanks.

I know Anne wrote it, but I don't remember her saying she recorded it.

The text in the "Joan Baez Songbook" is listed as copyright Anne Bredon.
