While searching for lyrics to the old Quebecois song "Bonhomme, Bonhomme", I came across this site which has archived old Canadian gramophone recordings for listening or download:

The Virtual Gramophone - Canadian Historical Sound Recordings

Lots of old fiddle tunes and folk songs there, though some of the linked downloads are dead, most are there, in all their scratchy glory. Step through the pages, back or forward... they are arranged alphabetically.
