The daffodils are nodding in cordial agreement with the gentle easterly breeze and winter's tired wiry deadness is surrendering beakful by beakful to the eager nesting birds in this part of the Humber's southern bank. Even the stench from Benson's tripe works is moderated by the watery Spring sunshine.

Mrs Drinkall from No 21 is wearing a summer dress beneath her tartan coat and has dispensed with the severe paisley turban. Oh, and the contractors have finally finished resurfacing the A1077 outside my house. What a nice thread.

Shame it wasn't at the Playhouse though. I half expected to be struck down by the hand of God upon entering the House of the Lord to watch musicians.

On a serious note, what sites do people use for downloading music tracks? I'm trying to locate some old standards for the new band and compile a cd with them all on. Any recommendations, folks?

you could always try Kazaa, or the probably now-superior LimeWire, or bit torrent.
these 3 are the dominating forces in peer to peer sharing. you cannot get kazaa lite any more, which is kazaa but it loads faster and has no advertising etc. but you can still get the normal kazaa, always helpful.

I havent tried LimeWire but i hear good things about it, and even that it may be better then kazaa.
its just a shame audiogalaxy closed down.
