Mention: Peter G. of the Magnitones) Mandolin: Tom McGuiness (Blues Band) Washboard: Rob Townsend (Blues Band) Banjo: Paul Sealey (Chris Barber Band) Zydeco rubboard & Fez: Pete Oliver (New City Gamblers) Accordian: Pete Hamilton (Blues Groovers and Pete Hamilton Band) Male singer: Stevie Smith (Ruthless blues) Female Singer: Dana Gillespie (Honourable Mention: Connie Lush) Tightest Band: Sonny Black & the Dukes SPECIAL AWARDS: Best bl**dy good guitar player under 20: Joe Hollywood Acoustic Duo: Ruckus Blues Best Hat worn by a performer: Lighnin' Willie Miserable git award: ("I won't be coming back here, the sound is sh*t") Stan Webb (Chicken Shack) "She who must be Obeyed" award for the best performance of "Albatross": Sonny Black (Runner-up: Peter Green!)
