hi there, I recently heard that there was an Eric Bogle song about the heroic Sir Roden Cutler. I was wondering if that is that case if anyone knew of a recording and the lyrics to this song.

Hmmm ... I've never heard that one (seems a bit outside wee Eric's usual ambit ... but ... ?) - I'll ask him if I see him at the (Australian) National Folk Festival next week!

Following a suggestion in the other thread ... I did try both Google and Yahoo's (now separate) search engine. Both were to no avail, so I would guess that anything Eric has written on Sir Roden must have a song title that doesn't include his name.

Sorry ... I had taken it as granted that Wee Eric's fan site would not have any words ... and it has not any title that suggests the subject of Sir Roden Cutler. The lad's not into printing / publishing ... just writing / singing!

Oh, I'm sorry I accidentally ommitted the possible title they gave. It was a Good Man or something. I hope this helps some.
