The latest issue of "The Broadsheet" has just been issued and is available at participating folk clubs. If you are unable to pick up a copy at one of those clubs and are not on our mailing or e-mail list you can always pick up the information by visiting our web site, such as it is, at www.broadsheet.org.uk.
The Broadsheet was never intended as a long running thing but we're no into our nineteenth year. In all that time the format has remained the same, a single sheet of A4 paper listing upto eleven clubs at one time. The listing gives the programmes for three months with no fuss or frills. To save space Singers Nights or Open Evenings are not listed.
The original concept, which still holds good to-day, was for a single page that could be stuck or pinned to a wall with all the information a folkie needed.
Get a look at the latest issue and an insight into some of the history of The Broadsheet at www.broadsheet.org.uk.
