I might just come, Simon, as I have the evening off from Herga... I'll bring my voice and instrument, and I can tell a story. But if Vanessa cannot accompany me, I hope I can borrow someone else's snog!

Agreed - if we haven't got a snog can one be provided? If I'm back from Newark in time I might get there.

As the evenings are lengthening, I could be tempted by a snog at twilight, when the lights are low and the flickering shadows softly come and go. Though your heart be weary, sad the day and long, still to us at twilight comes love's old snog, love's old sweet snog.

Simon, the dyslexic poet, lures.

I may well be there - you have been warmed.

Alan

I told Lynne last Monday, that if you're open on Bank Holiday you'll get a big infux of visitors, but now you've really gone and done it!

You'd better start taking bookings.

PS I'm not snogging El Grek, but if he brings Vanessa....

OK everybody, watch out for an anonymous GUEST with a paperbag over their head asking you to say "aaaahh".

Haven't you heard about looking Greeks in the mouth? Oh no, that was horses, wasn't it.

No - I'm not Avril and I'm afraid I can't reveal myself until after Easter Sunday. It's all to do with Agents and contracts etc.

Who is Avril?

At this rate it'll be as bad as a Guest night with everybody only getting one song. Or perhaps one snog . Maybe I will come along too.

If you're only going to do one snog, make it count!

"Love Chronicles", anyone?

or "Desolation Row"?

or "Sir Patrick Spens"?

Alan

PS Does anyone else remember Johnny Walker's "Kiss in the Car" spot on Radio Caroline? Radical tonsillectomies performed with the tongue!

It was good to be young then ...

Oh good, please to hear someone is listening to me, spent Easter Sunday with most of my family, nearly as bad as Christmas. No Black Sheep after all that, but the Directors was lovely, and so was the night. Don't forget next Sunday New Roots Competition 14.00 at The Trestle Arts Base in St Albans. Always an excellent event, I am even not going to The Woodworks Festival, this year just so I can come to all of The New Roots Competition. See you all tonight .

I have to cry off... Last night's session in Oxford took it all out of me. We finished at 5am, slept till 10 then drove back. If I drive there now I will be a road risk, and even worse later on... Sorry! Raincheck for another Monday...

Simon
