The session was wonderful and as Liz said the landlord wants us back!! So there will be a session in the Black Lion on Sunday 25th April from 7:30pm. It was absolutely grand to see so many catters turn up to meet our American friends. After the session a number of us came back to our place and continued conversations and drinking! I think I was wearing a pheasant, but on that shirt (bought in Whitby for Jim Mageean's Wednesday session in the Endeavour) it's hard to tell! Mrs Duck - Sorcha explained that the pheasant is the emblem of her home town, and she'd brought a bagful of pheasant lapel badges, which she distributed to all Catters present (preasant?). We all then dutifully recited "I'm not the pheasant plucker....." I guess if Kendall has an emblem it's a walrus? (If in doubt, consult Chambers.) Kitty |
