Subject: Tech: Clearing Cache from the Server Side? From: jeffp Date: 22 Apr 04 - 11:37 AM I'm working on a web site for our company and we need to ensure that the latest versions of the information posted there will be seen by our employees. Unfortunately, sometimes when someone accesses the page, they get what they had in cache, rather than the new version. This can be fixed by clearing cache, but we can't count on these folks to do that. Is there some way that we can force the cache to be cleared or ignored from our side? BTW, we're writing for both Netscape and Explorer. Thanks for any suggestions. Jeff |

From: The Fooles Troupe Date: 23 Apr 04 - 02:39 AM There's a standard META tag does this at the top of the page to ensure that only the latest version of the page is loaded and the cache is ignored, or rather the page is not cached - don't have the references to hand at moment - no-cache I think it is... I don't use it very often. Robin |
