I live in Issaqua and have been playing acoustic guitar for about 3 years. I really don't know anyone to jam with and would like to start. I catch on really quick and will play most anything. I was told there were alot of players from Seattle here. Thanks,Marty

You could connect with Victory Music, as well. Non profit organization for folk music..........we subscribed, cuz we believe in what they are doing, but too depressing to hear about all the fun when you live two states away...........or give John Peekstock a call at Dusty Strings, in Seattle.......he who knows all!

Aloha,

Hi Marty,

There's lots going on here. Victory Music has several open mics - check them out. Come to our open mic at Ravenna Third Place Books in North Seattle and you'll meet a lot of local musicians. There's a singer/songwriter jam at Wits End Bookstore in Fremont on Thursday nights. And if your're into Irish music there are quite a few Irish sessions Check Here. The Seattle Folklore Society lists a lot of area jams HERE.

Cheers, S. in Seattle
