it's not a session and will take you about an hour and a quarter to get there but on Saturday 26th june, Cornwall Songwriters are doing Unsung heroes at the Shire Hall in Bodmin, 8pm start. Loads of songs to join in with and there may well be people there who run sessions or know of what's going on in the area.

Even if you don't go for a session, do go to the Square & Compasses as Greg suggests. It is a wonderful quirky pub which does several excellent ciders, and they like any sort of music at any time.

Square and Compass, Worth Matravers. Song session used to be Thursday, but I'm talking a year or two back. Give them a ring.OK, it's probably 40 miles from Lyme Regis, but it is the nicest pub in England.

Eileen and I are staying in Lyme Regis from 26 June – 3 July. Does anyone know of any song sessions in the area? I've done a web search but there appears to be nothing closer than 30 or 40 miles away.
