Subject: Lyr Add: WHEN I NEED YOU MOST OF ALL (David Buskin

From the video at YouTube
Recorded April 19, 2009 (it says)

WHEN I NEED YOU MOST OF ALL
David Buskin

You say my smile is like a summer day,
But what if tears begin to fall?
If things get bad, will you be on your way?
Will you be here when I need you most of all?

When gray geese honk across the autumn sky,
Will you look up and hear the call?
Will you be like the geese and have to fly?
Will you be here when I need you most of all?

When I'm snow-blind and it seems
That the mountains and the trees are too distant and too tall,
When I am having my December dreams,
Will you be here when I need you most of all?

When we fight and sit without a word,
Watching the flowers climb the wall,
Will it be spoken and will it be heard?
Will you be here when I need you most of all?

I don't mean moments of unkindness or anger;
There'll be days when the house is just too small.
But if I let you see my heart and mind,
Will you be here when I need you most of all?

Hey Steve ,
Buskin and Bateau may have had a falling out some time in the past but they have been performing again at least since since 05 . They have a web site and seem to be performing rather regularly in the Northeast particularly in CT . the lyrics to When I Needed You Most of All likely are on their web page.

Thanks Steve!! I was beginning to think I had dreamed them up...giggle. If anyone know the words to 'Will you be there..." I would really, really appreciate getting them. I have searched data bases from *time to timbuktu, and come up with zero so far. Again, thanks!! Strive for whirled peas, marla

Sadly, Buskin & Batteau had quite a falling out a few years back. I have one of their recordings and a double lp mastered to one cd was available (supposedly) from Single Wing records, but sadly I was never able to find a copy.

Robin Batteau did a cool album of mostly (all?) instrumental music with Josh White, Jr. that you might still be able to find. David Buskin is on Laugh Tracks and other compilation recordings.

:-)

A few years ago, a friend of ours,Bill Bumpus, intoduced us to the music of David Buskin and Robin Bateau ( I believe the name of their group was 'Pierce Arrow') I would love to get the lyrics to "Will you be there when I need you most of all" by David Buskin. You can E-mail me at : mbrinkmoeller@voyager.net Any additional information about Buskin & Bateau would be greatly appreciated....thanks
