For the umpteenth time, I'm not going to be there, as I have to be at a christening in Ilkley at 9:30 that morning. One day, I'm gonna have the chance!!!

Who's going to be there? Martin? Jacqui? Kevin? Simon? Dave? ...

It used to be every two weeks but we changed it to the 3rd Sunday about 8 years ago. It's only been like it for about 40% of its 20 year life, so I suppose we could change it without too much inconvenience.

PS
anyone wanting to see the 7-person version of the Ashwell Mummers' Recruiting Sergeant play (as performed in the singular at Barton le Clay) might like to come to the Ashwell at Home this Sunday, 9th May (12:00-6:00pm).

Stevenage Sword will be doing their traditional performance in the Nuclear Shelter (among other places) and Letchworth Morris will also be there. There's also an exhibition of the Christmas Mummers Play in the village museum.

Yep, it's Sunday the 16th May.

I'm pretty confused at the moment as I seem to have been being 3 different people during the last week.

I'll be in W. Yorks wetting the baby's head (not mine) on Sunday so it'll be June before I get there anyhow (I'm not usually that late).

Since I'm not there to claim my £10, could you buy a few drinks from me? The money goes quite a long way in The White Horse, as the beer's quite cheap.

One of these days, I'll stop trying to do more things than time allows and then I'll get to Barton le Clay and St Albans and ...

... exhausted.
