Subject: W ABBEY FC - ADRIAN MAY - MON 10TH MAY From: Leraud Date: 06 May 04 - 01:46 PM The excellent singer/songwriter Adrian May will be our guest at the Waltham Abbey Folk Club on Monday 10th May. Some of you will remember Adrian as a solo artist, with Spring Chickens and the New Sneakers. He writes some wonderful songs, but has not been on the scene much over the last few years as he has been busy studying and is now a Doctor of Literature at Essex University. Adrian is a unique performer and really worth seeing. Waltham Abbey Folk Club meets at the Royal British Legion, Brooker Road, Waltham Abbey, Essex every Monday night from 8:30 to 11:00. All performers and audience are given a warm, if not ecstatic, welcome. Please contact me if you have any queries. Don't forget the Waltham Abbey FC Weekend Away to the Moreton Festival - Friday 11th to Sun 13th June. £22-50 for the weekend inc camping. I'm sending off a block booking next week. Contact me for further details Lynne Heraud |
Subject: RE: W ABBEY FC - ADRIAN MAY - MON 10TH MAY From: GUEST,harlowpoet Date: 06 May 04 - 03:42 PM Hi Due to a mix ue, I've ended up with a massive box of stuff, bingo, lottery tickets etc that should have been delivered to the legion at Waltham Abbey. I haven't been able to contact Barbara or Norrie yet. So if anyone sees them, can they say I have them, and will arrange delivery somehow (its a big box). Simon Ps Lynne, nice one for organising Moreton |
