Strollin' Johnny - You may interpret the term "ass" as either a donkey or the American term for nether regions. It doesn't make much difference since most people who are one are, in fact, both.   

As an aside, you Brits really don't know what a wonderful aspect of childhood you missed by not getting to make all the puns and double entendres that the dual American meaning of "ass" makes possible. Things like "The Virgin Mary rode into Bethlehem on her ass," really crack eight-year-olds up. Even adult Americans can't see a donkey in a farmer's field without saying "Hmmm... Nice ass!"

I think they should arm all grocery store parking lots with security troops who note whether or not the shopper has been willing to wheel back his/her shopping cart to the store after loading up the car. If not, the troops acost said shopper, make them wheel the cart back, and stamp upon their forehead in red ink...

If they object, stamp below that

"I'm a lazy, impatient, bad-tempered fucker
"who doesn't give a damn about anyone else."

If they still object, strip them naked, stamp "Kick me now!" on both bare buttocks, and throw them out of the store parking lot into the street.

In time I think this method would serve to better regulate grocery parking lots and would help people get some desperately needed exercise while they wheel back their empties.

It would also be more beneficial than torturing Iraqis, who have troubles of their own to worry about that are more serious than having to return a grocery cart to the store.

It's true! So I'm gonna go ahead and get it outta the way with the first post to this thread. I'm an ass! I freely admit it! That means that all subsequent posters to this thread are free to not be asses. I've already done it so you don't have to! When's the last time someone did something that nice for you? More importantly, when's the last time some ass did something that nice for you? Just think of all the nasty things that asses do: cutting you off in traffic, talking on cell phones while you're trying to have a nice meal, farting, posting as William Shatner. The list is endless and now you don't have to do any of them! Boy! Is this your lucky day or what?
