Subject: RE: chords-Wondrous Love From: harpgirl Date: 11 May 04 - 03:26 PM thanks for the LB link, Greg. I just love how LB sings Little Moses on the Autoharp Album. I'm going to order a CD. I guess I should go through Dick.... |

Subject: RE: chords-Wondrous Love From: GUEST,carolyn Date: 11 May 04 - 01:25 PM Actually, I have the Rise up singing book. But it was hard to assign the chords they wrote out to the particular phrase they were supposed to go with. Some of them just didn't sound right when I tried it. At least the way I'm trying to do it off the BH album. I suppose that there might be variations on which note is sung at certain words from different sources. |
Subject: RE: chords-Wondrous Love From: GUEST Date: 11 May 04 - 01:21 PM Thanks, but eek! I'm just doing strum-along chords. There are too many in there and I am having trouble figuring out the important ones. Think Blue Highway's version in their gospel album of the same title. |
Subject: RE: chords-Wondrous Love From: Joe Offer Date: 11 May 04 - 12:53 PM Hi - here's what's suggested in the Rise Up Singing songbook: What wondrous love is this, oh my soul, oh my soul, What wondrous love is this, oh my soul, What wondrous love is this that caused the Lord of bliss To bear the dreadful curse for my soul for my soul, To bear the dreadful curse for my soul.
Each grouping represents a measure. If there are two chords together, play each for half the measure. I'm not a much of a guitarist, so I just copy what I see. -Joe Offer- |

Subject: chords-Wondrous Love From: GUEST,carolyn Date: 11 May 04 - 12:41 PM I have hunted but can't find chords to Wondrous Love. I know it is often done a capella, and is also a shape-note song, but I want to do it with guitar chords. Some chords I can figure out, but some changes elude me. |
