I've been arranging a lot of tours for Scotish musicians in Denmark, and I was wondring if there's any Irish musicians out there, who would bee interested in comming to Denmark. Prefere duos. Give a note with your e-mail address.

I may know some people who can help you, but I would need to have more details.
What time of year are you talking about?
Where in Denmark?
Are they acoustic venues?
Are they stage concerts you organise or are they informal sessions?
How much money is paid to the musicians?
What transport arrangements are made?
How many people are you looking for?
What combinations of instruments are you looking for? Is is traditional music you are looking for?

Hi Seachrán Sídhe I run a small agency, that arrange tours for mostly folk musicians. Mostly pub gigs, but also folkclub sessions and privat gigs. I've been running this for 2 years now, and it's develloping. (don't mind my spelling - I'm Danish) The tour is mostly in the areas of Jüttland and Fyn, but I've also arranged a couple of gigs at folkclubs on Seeland (Copenhagen) It all started because we (my husband and I)own a pub our selves, and had some Scottish folk bands playing there. Some of the bands were not too satisfied with the way their agent ran the buisness, so they asked us to take over. The gigs pay around 250£ each for 3 X 45 min.(duos) Sometimes more sometimes less depending on the day of the week. Normaly the Scottish bands come over for 3-4 weeks and do 3-4 gigs a week. Since we've always done tours for Scottish musicians (English as well) we would like to get some Irish traditional folk music. Look up http://home10.inet.tele.dk/sbook (there's an English edition) This will give you an idea of what I mean, even though the sites on musicians is not translated yet.

I am an Irish musician working out of Milan, in Italy. I work in a duo with a fiddler/mandolinist. We both sing and play guitar. I am also a composer of Irish folk. We would be interested in playing Denmark sometime in the near future. My e-mail is [e-mail].

We are a band from Iceland and we play only Irish music jigs ,polkas ,hornpipes and reels. We also sing both iin English and cealic.We have a panjo.mandolin, tin whistle , gitar and base and in the nearest time also a bodhrán for more info, the e-mail is [e-mail] . slán. Tamóra
