Borrowed this from the OT newsgroup, figuring it might be of interest to some of you.

Actually, part of the Ill-Mo's plus friends; Geoff Seitz, Marc Rennard, Jim Nelson, and Dave Landreth will have a small part playing a square dance band on the NBC miniseries "A Will Of Their Own" to be broadcast at 7pm central Sunday October 18. The soundtrack in this scene is from Geoff's CD "The Good Old Days Are Here".

Another one to look for (take notes) is The White River Kid, filmed in Arkansas, starring Beau Bridges along with Antonio Banderas,Bob Hoskins, Randy Travis, Swoozie Kurtz, and Ellen Barkin. It's a comedy about two con men on the run (Banderas and Hoskins) who pose as monks on a divine mission to raise money for blind children. It is due for release next year. DeeAnn Gillispie of the Dixie Darlins' and other local musicians are slated to appear as a string band in that one.
