I am looking for the lyrics to "Pretty Far Out" by The Limelighters. It was an updated version of and old Irish? song, Old Goodman?

Hey, it's a pretty clever rendition of a Child Ballad, Our Goodman, Child #274 (click). I didn't see it in our collection of Songs by the Limeliters, so I'll get a transcription up in a few minutes.

Pretty Far Out
(Raskin Gottlieb)

I've traveled this world over, a million miles or more,
But I saw some things in the last few days I never have seen before.
I saw some things in the last few days I never have seen before.

When I got home the other night, it was dark as it could be;
There was a Cadillac in the carport where my Volkswagen ought to be.
I said to my wife, my pretty little wife, "Explain this thing to me,
What's a Cadillac doing in the carport where my Volkswagen ought to be?"
She said, "Oh, you silly, can't you plainly see?
It's nothing but a freezer chest Sears Roebuck delivered to me."
I've traveled this world over, a million miles or more,
But tailfins on a freezer chest I never have seen before.
Tailfins on a freezer chest I never did see before.

When I got home the very next night, it was a quarter to three;
There was a woofer in my hi-fi where the tweeter ought to be
I said to my wife, "Now darlin', explain this thing to me,
What's a woofer doing in my hi-fi where the tweeter ought to be?"
And she said, "Oh, you silly, can't you plainly see?
It's nothing but tea tray your mother sent to me."
I've traveled this world over, a million miles or more,
But a tea tray playing Mozart I never did see before.
A tea tray playing Mozart I never did see before.

When I got home the other night, so tired I could not see;
There was another head on the pillow where my head ought to be
I said to my wife, now honey', "Explain this thing to me,
What's another head doing on the pillow where my head ought to be?"
She said, "Oh, you silly, can't you plainly see?
It's just a modern sculpture Picasso sent to me."
I've traveled this world over, a million miles or more,
But a statue blowing smoke rings is pretty far out for me.
A statue blowing smoke rings is pretty far out for me.

[spoken] Fortunately, I am not of a suspicious nature,
Or I could easily have misinterpreted the entire sequence of events.

Pretty far, pretty far, pretty far, pretty far,
Pretty far out for me.
