OK, serious for a sec. This thread is NOT helping me meet gals--just very strange guys. I am gone, and I am taking my briefs with me. So there.

Did ya hear about the fellow who bought briefs that were three sizes too small? He took 'em back to the store. The lady wanted to know why he was returning them. Let me explain something here. Thongs are not at all uncomfortable, providing you've got the right size & fit. (isn't that true of ALL undergarments?) This is something no one can understand till they've actually worn one. I've had plenty of "regular" underwear that was damn uncomfortable.

And anyhow, the husband likes 'em.

Going back to the name game...

When we were together, my ex-wife nicknamed my Mr Happy "Bernie", as in the movie "Weekend at Bernie's", which was a comedy about these two guys who discovered a person they knew (Bernie) and for some reason brought him around with them to bars, the beach, parties, etc...

I hope they had a different type of enjoyment out of that stiff than my ex did...

PS-Don't take me seriously (I know you won't). I used to model and did all that stuff. Now I'm au natural, but old enough to know no one's looking anyway! ;-D

El Greko, that's not true. Thongs do serve a purpose. They get rid of panty lines, which some women (myself included) find extremely annoying and unattractive. I do not, however, buy into, or approve of, the current style of young women wearing their jeans low enough to show their thong straps.

The old what if there was a fire thing was always confusing to me. If I wake up and have to get out of the house so quickly that I can't grab any garment - my nudity wouldn't be my highest priority. Also, my feet are tender - if you gave me a choice between pants or shoes as I was running out the door to spend a few hours, I'd opt for the shoes - first of all, firemen always have blankets, but rarely ever shoes.

Thongs are one of those things me invented because they look sexy on skinny women. Anything else positive about them is purely coincidental.

Ever notice that one ball hangs lower than the other (usually the right)? It's to help make sure that they don't squeeze together and get hurt when you close your legs.

Is someone going to start a thread like this for ladies (or maybe women, ladies may not post to a similar thread)?

Many years ago, I modeled for an art class at my university. (They usually used women, as the students considered men too 'easy' to draw)

Women were allowed to model nude, but men were expected to wear some minimal covering, so I got the smallet 'posing brief' I could find...almost a thong.
Never again...uncomfortable and, as Kim C says, silly. (and I felt more exposed than if I had been naked!)

My girlfriend's oldest son was playing a game of road hockey a few winters back and after he came in the house, began to experience a lot of pain, scrotewise.

Rushed him to Emerg to see the on-call doc, who informed him he had suffered a torsion of the testicle. The boy was wearing boxers while playing and the doctor laid the blame there... not enough support.

She manipulated his nut back into the proper alignment (pretty good for not being an owner/operator) and advised a couple days of "taking it easy". He was in way too much pain to be titillated by the reality of the young attractive lady doctor being so attentive to his junk.

He now wears boxer briefs.
