Subject: 'On the Air' the Shivers From: GUEST,Chip Arnold Date: 02 Jun 04 - 01:31 PM I had the good fortune to jam a little with Chance Shiver and meet his wife Susette at Fiddler's Grove last weekend and Chance kindly gave me a copy of his cd. If you like good old time country music, string band music and a little cornpone thrown in then you have to have this cd. This is really good stuff! Thanks Chance. Chip Arnold |

Subject: RE: 'On the Air' the Shivers From: Fortunato Date: 05 Jun 04 - 12:26 PM Thanks, Chip, for the kind words. We're so glad you liked the CD. It was great fun playing with you and Will Keyes at Fiddler's Grove, it was that incredible time where one sees three generations playing the old time tunes with a unique master like Will. I was honored to attempt a few Riley Puckett bass runs; it was real treat. It was our first time there, but "Lord willing and the creek don't rise" we'll back again. Keep in touch. I want to hear more of your two finger style. regards, Chance |
