Try this, Shambles:

You could try looking <a href=http://celtic.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/htgrep/file=/tunes/fc/fc.html&style=&refer=&abstract=&ftpstyle=&grab=&linemode=&max=250?calliope+house/>Fiddle companion</a>

Here's a simplified example:

Sorry, I couldn't resist looking at something that says PLEASE IGNORE. It's kinda like the manuals that say "This page intentionally left blank."

Yup, yours worked, Shambles. It won't be long before you're like me and type those silly angle brackets in your letters home to Mom....

The index linked to is on the CEOLAS site in Mudcat's Links (Tunes/ Indexes of Printed Sources). Mudcat's URL is obsolete, but will still get you there by an extra click.

Yes, my hometown newspaper used to be like that before they got citified. They would sometimes leave entire pages blank, because they had no ads or news to put into them. This was just as well, as they often would get stories dreadfully wrong -- erroneous obituaries, wrong man named in some outrage, etc.

At this rate it looks like this is going to be the post with the most contributions in Mudcat history?

The next person to reply to this thread will win a copy of 'Joe Offer Sings Egelbert Humperdink'.

At least use it to try out your budding HTML skills.
