Hi there. Just a reminder that Gainsborough Folk Club is this coming Friday at the Drovers Call on Lea Road, Gainsborough. Arrive around 8.30pm and prepare to be entertained or as it is a sing-around perhaps sing or play if you want to. All are welcome including casuals who happen to be on holiday on the Lincolnshire coast or elsewhere nearby. The venue is non smoking and the atmosphere is great.

See Lincoln Folk Club have a thread started and would support but am on the Five Peaks on the date they start. Shame really.

Tonight was great as ever...Lovely to have Lucy and Paul(and Lucys parents) visit. One of the nicest sing-around Clubs I have encountered. Also a pleasure to have the Landlady sing after a long break from Folk singing. Be Blessed.

Great night Sooz, well done. And thanx to all for the excellent atmosphere and lack of smoke and solid friendly welcome, just wot a club should be like. And some impressive performers too. I'll definitely be coming across again if I can manage the long drive (age is advancing....!)

And as for the preponderance of piscine puns on this thread, is that offishial? (I didn't ketch that, I must be hard of herring....)
