Has anyone heard of a song about a "bomber's moon"? The song is about WWII bomber pilots flying over Europe at night. The singer at the end of the song pleads for old men to stop sending young men to die in war.

The guy who sings it has a very deep voice! Please help if you know who sings this song. I heard it on 88.5 WXPN, Univ. of Pa. radio.

I don't know where you can get a copy of it, but a song of that title and theme was written in the mid-1980s by Mike Harding. It was concerning (or at least in memory of) the father he never met who had died in a bomber during WWII, before Mike was born. I hope that helps a little.
