Hmm. I thought you had misspelled his name until I realized you're talking about a different guy than the one I knew about.

There's Sheb Wooley who died in 2003, and then there's Shep Woolley who's still performing in the UK.

Shep will be appearing sooon

Apparently he has just returned from Greece

And saw his Dr upon his return, a woman Dr she was ,and still is.

Most punctillious.

And have you seen the effect he's had on their football team recently?

If you don't fancy seeing Shep Woolley, you can go and see Isla St Clare and the Witches of Elswick.

I wonder if it is the same Shep Woolley I knew. He was an ex matelot, saw him many times around the Portsmouth area. Does a wonderful number called the Antiseptic C & W Song.

If that's the Anti-Antiseptic Country And Western Song it was written by Stan Arnold I think.

Hi John

I was thinking of coming along on Sunday for the spotlight

Any room for a poor country boy to yodel out 3 songs

I'll wash me feet

Mind you if Greece wins at the final of Euro 2004 there'll be only Greek songs at the Spotlight this Sunday...

I am worried however about the premonitory message of "Never on a Sunday"...
