Subject: PA SYSTEM- Critiques ? From: Les B Date: 21 Oct 98 - 06:19 PM Do any of you who perform as singles or duos have experience with Fender's new "Passport" Portable Audio System ? It's a 250 watt, two speaker & amp, self-contained unit with two mics & cables that folds together into a streamlined case for carrying. Weighs 53 pounds. It runs about $640 in most discount catalogs. If you want tripod speaker stands they seem to be $80 more. I haven't had a chance to see or hear one in action, although I heard a good folk musician saying it might be something he'd like to use. Responses Pro & Con ??? |

Its a one piece unit that I find to be great. Its light, very small, easy to use and can fill up most high school gyms. There are several one piece units now that are great.I know Crate makes one as do several amp brands. Check out Elderly Instruments catalogue. |
