laying down in this old town to long..can anyone please tell me who this song is by or where i can get a copy of this, i heard it tonight in a bar and the musican told me that it was by pat ? who played with a young bob dylan or in that era of early 60's folk music , i liked the sound of the song and the meaning of the lyrics, any help is greatly appreciated ,thankyou ;)

Yes, it must be the song called Done Laid Around, "Gotta Travel On," and probably some other things. It was written by Paul Clayton. I've added crosslinks at the top of this thread so you can explore the story of this song.
