I saw its very first outing at Haddenham 2 years ago, and later its 5th somewhere in the Midlands - in the church of the village where John O'Hagan used to live, I forget the name now.

Like its predecessor, "The Widow's Uniform", it is wonderful stuff. The Kipling-Bellamy songs are themselves a guarantee of quality, as well as the voices of Cockersdale, Dave & Anni and Johnny Morris (I heard the show with the full complement of all six of the participants). But Graham Pirt's accompanying slideshow and the narration help put all those songs (many of them already familiar) into context, and enhance the experience.

Don't miss it - the last time I travelled 150 miles each way to see it, and I would again.
