Subject: Help with Victorian tunes From: Gaost3@pitt.edu Date: 24 Oct 98 - 12:15 PM Hi, I'm involved with a production of a play by British author Caryl Churchill, in wich two Victorian songs are sung by the cast. One is "Gather round for England," and the other is "A Boy's Best Friend is His mother." They are given copyright dates of 1902 in the title page, so I do know they are real songs. Please email if you know where I can find the tunes. Despite my American email address, I am currently in Prague, so any leads on where to find the tunes are also very welcome. Thanks, Gwen |
