Well said GUEST of most excellent fancy. It will be a great weekend of singing and general ribaldry. Come and laugh along with us at the locals ill-fitting smocks

Good to see you ruffians again last night. I am pleased my new "Ted Baker" shirt impressed you all, and before you ask, NO you couldn't afford one! Mind you, even my brilliant shirt didn't stop me cocking up the introduction to "one more cup of coffee" did it!

I wondered where that Ted Baker shirt had disappeared to, could you fasten all the buttons.

And good to see you all again as usual - thanks for taking the trouble to come.

Ted - thanks for playing for my son and showing him what proper guitar playing is about! (Steve Vai still rules though...)

Good to see Richard again. On fine fiddling form. Enjoyed Richard and Donald playing a few things together especially the one with the playing in harmony.

Very much looking forward to the 3rd Sept

Thank you Ted for driving and to everyone else for the great music. I had a lovely evening - such a friendly atmosphere. El Ted sang "Come in" all the way home. I can't wait for the 3rd of september.

Mick, I am very sorry to have woken you up. Thank you for being so nice about it!

Thank you Nick, Beast and Sweetfia. I am blushing and my head is swelling out of all proportion. I am trying, probably vainly, to reach the stellar talents of Oaklet. Such aspirations may elude me but I hope that I will soon experience wiping my behind on owls.

I look forward to our next musical reunion!

Another decent recording - I'll see if I can do you another cd for when we see you with your bits on it.

Haven't had the pleasure of hearing Oaklet who I guess must be pretty good then.

Owls can be very vicious when riled. I'd be careful.

Where does Oaklets play? Is he/she coming to our September bash?

****

And for TED - any ideas of numbers at the moment who are coming from away so that I can keep Ben informed? There at least a dozen definites who are coming locally but probably more.

Any idea how many are in tents? The car park will no doubt soak up as many thousands as want to come but just to get an idea.

Hello,

I will be bringing my tent for the 3rd weekend.

Nick, Oaklet tends to spend much of his time tending whelks and in Best Western Hotels in Darlington. I last saw him at Brigg Fiddle Festival. A picture of him can be found at the following page:

http://www.carasmusic.com/

Notice his short and bowed legs. This is an evolutionary adaptation, common in the whelk-farming community on the south bank of the Humber, which enables him to spend hours riding a Lincolnshire dwarf mud pony on which he traverses the treacherous mudflats of the Humber fiddling to his whelks. His devotion to the latter, may mean that only the prospect of spectacular excitment and debauchery will lure him to Farlington.

Purple was the start of the decline of Hull FC in the mid-eighties. Thankfully that era has passed and it's now pure black and white.
