On the 'No Sidmouth' Thread I spotted the following.
As I haven't seen anything 'pointing it out' to Catters, I thought it needed a thread of its own to bring it more obviously to the attention of catters within striking distance.
It's all THIS weekend 30th July - 1st Aug. I now quote.....

Another alternative to Sidmouth - there's a weekend 'folk gathering' at Hardraw (up int Dales) - concerts from 2 -5pm - sessions and singarounds from 5pm - concerts from 8-midnight (even till 1am!) - £8 a day ticket - Bob Fox, Duncan McFarlane Band (acoustic) and Howden/Jones (and MANY more!) - dancing, heck! all sorts of goings-on - all based round the 'Dragon' pub there. I'm off to see DMcF at 3.30 SAt aft and 8pm Sat eve - but it all starts tonight (Fri) and finishes midnight Sunday.
