Well only a little over 3 weeks to Whitby Folk festival (Hurray !!)
and as you know we now have an "Traditional" annual jaunt on the train on the first Sunday which this year is August 22. The train leaves Whitby at 12.39 arriving Glaisdale Station at 12.59 from whence we will walk up the hill to the ARNCLIFFE ARMS for a session.
Allan, the landlord, has asked if I can give him some idea of numbers so he can arrange bar and or catering staff.
Here's where you good people can help, if you are coming could you please let me know and if you know of others who intend to join us again could you let me know.
Introductions for amorous relations are now subject to a fee, payable in advance (due to non-payment by previous beneficaries)

Last train back 16.22 from Glaisdale arriving back 16.50 in whitby, although I've just checked on the Nail Railway timetable on-line and that gives a time 5 minutes later, I think I'll go for the earlier one just in case !!

See you on the 7th hopefully, By the way sorry about loosing you on the tune on Saturday night but I was too busy listening to you and missed where I should have come back in !!!
That's the price you pay for bring so good !!

last time i went to whitby by train the powers that be knocked them off without warning,leaving my self late wife and 2 young children stranded. never again.

Don't worry McFat, Raggy normally has a wipe-down with a damp flannel every 10 days or so. That normally keeps it under control.

OK Boys and Girls, Please lets get back to the thread, I understand people have various opinions about David but this is not the place to air them. If anyone has a grievance with him I think they should at least discuss it with him personally as opposed to putting nameless threads on a web-site, which I am led to believe he he doesn't access anyway (possibly because of the slating he gets)
