That video is on youtube. He's singing that song and two others.
One is "Take This Hammer", and I don't remember the other one. The info
says that it's the only footage of him in existed.

I've seen an old movie short of Leadbelly himself (before he died) playing this song and it looks to me (it's not a hi-end looking video) as he is playing something like riff's and fragments of chords.
It reminds me (a bit) of Jimmy Page's licks on Bron-Y-Aur-Stomp from Led Zeppelin III. It's on Youtube if anyone can tell any more than that.

hang on! you left out the F flattened diminished 8th, with the hammer on and optional grace notes.

mind you, you can play all that easier in DADGAD, with a partial capo of course.....

Why do you need the chords to 'Pick A Bale Of Cotton'? Can't you beat your wife without musical accompaniment? Come to think of it, how do you manage to beat your wife and play an instrument at the same time?
